Welcome!
So much to do; so little time. This is a collection of bits and pieces I thought
others might like too.
As the Director of Information Systems I have many different areas that draw my attention. But I have eclectic tastes so it keeps me interested and energized. Here's are some links you might like or even find interesting.
Corban related sites:
Our Bandwidth Meter, which gives a graphical representation of how much traffic is zooming across our internet connection. Be sure to read from RIGHT to LEFT (the most current information is on the left side) or the graphs won't make much sense.
The Support Website for the college was originally designed by my good friend and Corban grad, Todd Fleischmann. This is version 2.0, not designed by Todd but still pretty good. It has a lot of very useful information and several detailed "HowTo" guides.
Computers and Technology:
Symantec's Security Response Center is world class and offers everything you need to protect yourself from the viruses and worms that roam the electronic night.
The Webopedia offers everything you need to know about computer terms and abbreviations. It's the only online dictionary and search engine you need for computer and Internet technology.
Other interesting stuff (in no particular order):
A Periodic Table - literally. And each tile has space to house an actual sample of the element. Very nice!
Here are two good devotional website - The IVP Quiet Time Bible Study and My Utmost for His Highest Daily Devotional. Use one or both. They will challenge you - beware!
Is the Internet getting you in trouble? Try Covenant Eyes, an excellent resource for developing Internet accountability.
The CIA has more information about other countries in it's World Fact Book than it knows what to do with so it's letting you see some of it. This is the material it uses to brief other government officials. Take a peek.
Want to see professional, gallery quality photos? Check out Josiah Phillips webpage. Josiah is a good friend, a 2003 graduate of Corban and was my assistant for most of his last semester here at college.
Here are a few of my vacation pictures. They will take a bit to load, until I have more time to optimize the picture sizes.
My vacation journal for 2005 is here.
My vacation journal for 2006 is here.
My vacation blog for San Francisco 2007 is here.
